The Mental Health Clinician (MHC) has made a significant impact on the psychopharmacology literature, with nearly 1 million article views in 2021. This is a direct result of those who have either submitted a manuscript to the MHC or authored a peer review. The editorial board is extremely grateful for all of our authors and peer reviewers and would like to specifically recognize some whose contributions have been especially noteworthy.

MHC Editors' Choice Award

The MHC Editors' Choice Award for Outstanding Articles recognizes those manuscripts that were of particular interest to readers in 2021. Articles were chosen by reviewing the number of article views through PubMed and were limited to those published in the last 4 years (2018-2021). The editorial board congratulates these winners for contributing such influential works to the body of mental health literature!

Outstanding and Trusted Peer Reviewers

The quality of the content in MHC reflects our wonderful base of peer reviewers. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least 3 peers and we greatly appreciate the time and effort that our reviewers put into these manuscripts. We have two designations to recognize our most reliable peer reviewers: Outstanding Peer Reviewer for those that have completed at least 20 reviews, and Trusted Peer Reviewer for those having completed at least 10 reviews since January 1, 2015. Achieving one of these designations signifies dependable completion of quality and timely reviews.

Congratulations to all of our peer reviewers for MHC over the past year and particularly to our Outstanding and Trusted Peer Reviewers!

2021 MHC Editorial Board

Finally, we want to thank the current MHC Editorial Board for their work over the last year. We processed 85 new submissions and had an acceptance rate of 57% in 2021. However, their dedication goes much further. Collectively, this group of editors brings 40 years of MHC Editorial Board experience, reflecting 629 manuscript assignments! They have worked hard to help authors improve their manuscripts, and they make the difficult publication decisions. The MHC continues to improve, and we are grateful for their continued contribution.
